Wheel Brow Buying Guide

How wheel brows are specified, why front/rear and left/right splits cause most ordering errors, and stocking advice for Qashqai, Juke, X-Trail and Yaris Cross ranges.

What a Wheel Brow Is

The wheel brow (wheel arch trim / fender flare moulding) is the plastic arch covering the wheel opening edge. It takes stone hits, kerb scuffs and car-wash damage constantly, which makes it one of the highest-turnover body trims in any market that runs SUVs and crossovers.

A full vehicle uses four to eight pieces: front pair, rear pair, and on some models split rear sections (RR.FR and RR.RR on Juke 2020, for example).

Reading the Catalog Line

Take SL262010105 Wheel Brow RR. for NS Qashqai 2010: OEM L:93829-BR01A / R:93828-BR01A. The RR. marks the rear axle position; L and R are per side. The Qashqai 2014 uses the same position with different suffixes (93829-4EA0A / 93828-4EA0A, our SL262014105) — visually similar parts that do not interchange.

Stock rule of thumb: order fronts and rears in equal pairs, and expect left-side turnover slightly higher in right-hand-traffic markets (kerb side scuffs).
